Cookie policy

The short version
- KnowLo uses no tracking or advertising cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner.
- The app keeps your progress in your browser's storage, because it can't work without it.
The website
knowloapp.com sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics.
The site's host, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie, such as __cf_bm, if traffic looks automated. It only helps tell people from bots and expires within 30 minutes.
The app
The app doesn't use cookies. It uses your browser's local storage to remember:

claude.ai, where the app currently runs, sets its own cookies to keep you signed in. Anthropic's cookie policy covers those.
Why there is no cookie banner
Under the ePrivacy rules (in Iceland, the Electronic Communications Act), storage that is strictly necessary for a service you asked for doesn't need consent. KnowLo only uses that kind. If optional cookies such as analytics are ever added, you will be asked first, and saying no will be as easy as saying yes.
How to remove it
In the app, open Menu → Delete my data. You can also clear site data in your browser's settings.
