KnowLo

Terms of use

Last updated 28 October 2026

The short version

  • KnowLo is a free study aid for people aged 13 and over.
  • It is for learning, not for treating real patients or giving medical advice.
  • There are no payments, subscriptions or hidden fees.

About these terms

KnowLo (the website at knowloapp.com and the KnowLo app) is provided by Isak Gudbjornsson, an individual based in Iceland. By using KnowLo you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

Who can use KnowLo

You must be 13 or older. If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian to read these terms with you.

A study aid, not medical advice

KnowLo is for education. It does not replace professional training, clinical supervision, official guidelines or medical advice. Don't use it to diagnose or treat real people. The content is checked carefully, but it may contain mistakes or be out of date, and it does not cover everything. If you spot an error, email isak@knowloapp.com.

Price

KnowLo is free. There are no payments, subscriptions or hidden fees. If paid features are ever added, the price will be shown clearly before you pay, and these terms will be updated first.

Refunds

Nothing is sold at the moment, so there is nothing to refund. If paid features are added later, you will keep every right you have under consumer law, including the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days where that applies. Purchases made through Apple's App Store are refunded through Apple.

Your account

The app currently runs on claude.ai, so you need a Claude account to use it. Anthropic's terms apply to that account. You are responsible for keeping your account secure.

Fair use

Please don't:

Content and licences

Changes and availability

KnowLo may change, pause or stop. Advance notice is given where possible. If these terms change, the date at the top changes, and important changes are announced in the app.

Liability

KnowLo is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, Isak Gudbjornsson is not responsible for indirect losses, or for decisions made based on its content. This does not limit liability for harm caused on purpose or through gross negligence, and nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Law

These terms are governed by Icelandic law. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EEA, you also keep the protections of your own country's law.
